ACE Learning, Inc., is an art-based program that collaborates with local community organizations to promote life learning skills in individuals of all ages. Using photography as a documentary process, participants explore, document, and interpret the world around them. Students work cooperatively on projects that emphasize four major themes:

 The World of Work

journey through different work experiences investigating how businesses function and what skills are needed for success

The Community

explore the cultural, educational, and social institutions in and around New York City

The Individual

look closely at the complexity of the human experience and a study of how families, friends, co-workers, acquaintances, and strangers interact

The Self-Reflective Moment

provide unstructured time for students to explore and reflect on their own photography skills and develop a personal interactive community project
